Founder, CEO
Dennis is the Chief Executive and Founder of First Estate Capital. He is leveraging his vast experience in the fund management industry to develop innovative products and fresh direction for the company.

Dennis started out as an economist/analyst at JM Sassoon & Co and was soon spearheading the Singapore/Malaysia Reseach for the Sun Hung Kai Securities Group in the early 1980s. New York heavyweight Chemical Bank appointed Dennis as Director of Asia Pacific Research and a member of the Investment Committee in the Trust and Investment Division from 1982 to 1986. He spent the next eight years with the Banque Indosuez Group to build both the Private Banking operations and the Asset Management subsidiary in Singapore.

In 1994, Dennis started PointWorth Management, one of Singapore's first exempt-license fund-managers and went on to secure several mandates and awards. PointWorth Management was dissolved by shareholders agreement in 2012 and Dennis joined the Milltrust Group as executive director of their Singapore subsidiaries where he helped to formulate, advise and experience the group’s launches of various products and services in fund management and family office investments. He stepped down from Milltrust in 2021 to launch First Estate Capital.

Ms. Lim Ning has 22 years of banking experience.

Ms. Lim started her career in 1991 as an equity salesperson at G. K. Goh Stockbrokers Pte Ltd, covering the Singaporean, Malaysian and Indonesian stock exchanges for various institutional clients.

From 1997 to 1999, she was an executive director at Prudential-Bache Securities Asia Pacific (2001) Ltd, where she undertook the role of a desk head, covering the equities market (excluding Japan and Australia) in the Asia Pacific region.

From 1999 to 2000, she undertook the role of an executive director at Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, covering the Asian equities market (excluding Japan and Australia), dealing mainly with ASEAN stocks.

From 2003 to 2008, Ms. Lim was an executive director in the Hong Kong office of Citigroup Global Markets, covering the equities market in the Asia Pacific region, which includes both the primary and secondary capital markets.

From 2008 to 2010, she was an executive director in Bank of China, Hong Kong, focusing on equity sales and initial public offerings of Chinese and Hong Kong companies on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

From 2010 to 2012, Ms. Lim was an executive director in the Hong Kong office of Royal Bank of Scotland, covering the Asian equities market (including Japan and Australia), which comprises of both the primary and secondary capital markets. During Ms. Lim's tenure at Royal Bank of Scotland, her team was involved in the transfer of the equities business to CIMB Bank Berhad. Ms. Lim retired from her professional career in 2012 and has been a private investor since.
